Cancale
The seaside resort of Cancale is located on the coast of northern Brittany, between Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo, it is known for its oysters and its exceptional location, not far from the bay of Mont Saint-Michel.
Many holidaymakers flock to the fishing village during the summer, attracted by the superb landscapes to be discovered along the coastal footpath, the vast sandy beaches and the many gourmet restaurants. It must be said that Cancale has been recognized for twenty years as a "remarkable site of taste" for its shellfish.
The small charming port is full of charm and authenticity, as evidenced by the upper part of the town and the small streets which have not changed for decades. The market is one of the most popular in the region. You can follow the corniche road which leads to the port of La Houle to discover the oyster beds at low tide. Among the most beautiful beaches, that of Verger and especially that of Saussay, which offers typical Breton landscapes.
The oyster beds are the hallmark of the port of La Houle, I recommend that you taste oysters directly on the port.
